Alan was born to parents sylivia and arthur Rogers in hull. He had one brother Colin and 3 sisters Caverl Pat and Denise.He came from a fishing family. most of his uncles and father went to sea.He told me of many a good party they had in becky street. He said it was open house in them days and when the men came home it was party time .He use to go to the dock with his dad when it was settling day he would call a cab for them usely it was a princess car.
